Report: GENE SIMMONS Calls In 'Sick' On Book Signing, Spotted With Women At Mall

The New York Post is reporting that fans of KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons were left in the lurch Thursday (December 4) after he canceled a book signing at Final Vinyl, a Tampa, Fla., record store. Fans from as far away as North Carolina began lining up at noon for the 7 p.m. appearance. At 4:30 p.m., a Simmons rep called to cancel, saying the rocker was bedridden with bronchitis. However, Simmons was later spotted at a local mall — in Starbucks, Victoria's Secret and Neiman-Marcus — with four women in tow. Despite his "illness," he managed to sign 8-by-10 glossies for his adoring fans at the mall.
